Asparia Glycomics, as an international reference in the field of glycan synthesis and analysis, announces once again its sponsorship and participation in the 8th edition of Glycobasque, a leading international scientific meeting in the field of glycosciences. Glycobasque is organized in collaboration with the research centers CIC bioGUNE (Derio, Bizkaia) and CIC biomaGUNE (San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa), under the scientific direction of renowned researchers Niels Reichardt and Jesús Jiménez-Barbero.
The event, which will take place on October 23-24, 2025, in San Sebastián, will last one and a half days and will bring together some of the world’s top leaders in research applied to glycobiology, immunology, and carbohydrate chemistry.
This edition will feature the participation of distinguished researchers including:

The program includes keynote lectures, presentations by young researchers, and spaces for scientific exchange, with special focus on emerging areas such as glycoimmunology in cancer and infectious diseases, the development of glycomimetics, and new tools for analyzing carbohydrate-protein interactions.
