Glycopeptides

Egg yolk glycopeptides

Description: Highly purified N-glycopeptides produced from chicken egg yolk with the common peptide sequence NH2-Lys-Val-Ala-Asn-Lys-Thr-COOH (KVANKT). The N-glycan is located on the Asn residue. The peptide sequence includes two lysine residues useful for direct covalent conjugation onto NHS-activated surfaces or particles.

Applications: As performance standards in the development of MS-based glycoproteomics workflows, substrates for glycoside activity tests, ENGase or PNGase F activity tests, as ligands for glycan arrays, nanoparticles or proteins, NMR and X-ray studies of glycosyltransferases and glycosidases.

Purity: <95% (HPLC, NMR)
