Glycopeptide Standards

Egg yolk glycopeptides:

  • Highly purified N-glycopeptides produced from chicken egg yolk with the common peptide sequence NH2-Lys-Val-Ala-Asn-Lys-Thr-COOH (KVANKT).
  • The N-glycan is located on the Asn residue.
  • The peptide sequence includes two lysine residues useful for direct covalent conjugation onto NHS-activated surfaces or particles.

Applications:

  • Performance standards in the development of MS-based glycoproteomics workflows,
  • Substrates for glycoside activity tests, ENGase or PNGase F activity tests, Ligands for glycan arrays, nanoparticles, or proteins
  • NMR and X-ray studies of glycosyltransferases and glycosidases
