Their typical clients are R&D centers and departments in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, as well as academic institutions, primarily in the fields of oncology, infectious diseases, immunology, and microbiota, among others. The company currently has 10 staff members, mostly highly qualified professionals with PhDs in areas such as chemistry and molecular biology.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development and Sales Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing key relationships, ensuring the expansion of our client base in national and international markets.


– Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors.

– Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

– Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.

– Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance the value proposition.

– Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and adjust sales strategies as necessary.

– Participate in industry conferences and events to represent the company and expand our professional network.

– Prepare and present sales reports and revenue forecasts to management.


– University degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech R&D industry.

– Strong communication and negotiation skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

– Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
